Floral Pear

Unfortunately I don't get any of the Pear or Rhubarb from this, and to me it smells somewhere between a medicine and a floor cleaner. The Freesia is extremely strong in this, overpowering everything else. Maybe it's just my body chemistry, but the most charitable thing I can say about this scent is that it gives me a slight headache.

I was looking forward to this one, but unfortunately I'm just not able to detect any of the pear, watermelon, or rhubarb. For me, the freesia dominates so strongly that it makes the scent land somewhere between medicinal and cleaning-product. Probably just my body chemistry, as I see lots of other people love it.

Excellent longevity. Not sweet but more of a green floral (which is a positive for me). Stays blended in the top and middle range on skin and clothes, without much base-y scent. Lasted for about 8 hours on my skin, 3 of which had reasonable projection with 2-3 sprays. Didn't give me a headache, which floral dominant and relatively long lasting perfumes can. I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5 because the freesia reads quite feminine and doesn't get toned down by the ambery/musky/***** base, so once the top greener notes leave it is quite feminine. Not girly btw, but feminine. Could be layered with a variety of fragrances to add personalization, be it a ginger musk, and ambery wood, or a sweeter fruity scent. I like it enough to keep it, especially for at work where I need an inoffensive scent that lasts all day.
