Citrus Matcha

I haven't smelled the Le Labo version, but I'd imagine it's close. It has the same scent quality of santal 33, which I have, I also have the dossier version.

This lasts on me all day and smells like warm green tea, not a lot of citrus which is fine.

Wow. I am a true matcha LOVER. Matcha latte with almond milk and raspberry cold foam light ice was my GO TO at Starbs for the longest time. For that reason, I was really scared of being let down by this. My fear was that it miiiight come off as synthetic, or too herbal and not enough sweetness to be wearable.

But oh my… This is literally my Starbucks order minus the raspberry cold foam. Sub orange cold foam. The citrus makes for a beautiful and refreshing opening. Then you immediately get the matcha, but with a creamy almond milk base. It doesn’t smell thick or lactonic, so it isn’t cow milk. It’s lighter and more watery, like an unsweetened nut milk, with a touch of vanilla syrup. There is nothing sour, synthetic, sharp, or overly herbal about it. It’s very wearable and perfect for gourmand lovers in the hot summer months. I’d even reach for this when I just need to feel comforted. I babysit for a little boy and his mom walked up to my car and was like “WOW, something smells good.” I was like, I think that’s me! Haha 10/10, Dossier. Love you
