Oud, auch Adlerholz genannt, ist einer der exklusivsten Rohstoffe in der Parfümerie und stammt von einem immergrünen Baum aus den Tropen namens Agarbaum. Wenn bestimmte Pilze an diesem Baum wachsen, reagiert er mit der natürlichen Freisetzung von Harz, das zur Bildung von harzigem Kernholz führt, das wiederum unter der Bezeichnung Oud bekannt ist. Oud wird hauptsächlich im Nahen Osten genutzt und leistet einen faszinieren Beitrag in Form von tiefen, warmen, würzigen, ledrigen Balsam- und Holznoten.

Fougere Oud ist mysteriös und intensiv und besticht mit einer traditionellen männlichen Duftstruktur namens Fougere (einer Mischung aus Zitrus-, Geranien- und Patschulinoten) durch einen Hauch Orient.

This was a blind buy based on the scent notes and I'm so happy that I did! At first spray it smells like you're walking through a juniper forest on a crisp winter day. It then dries down to this sultry creamy base that is heavenly and lasts all day. I have received so many compliments whenever wearing. This scent also feels truly unisex to me. This is now officially tied with Floral Rose (Le Labo Rose 31 impression) for my favorite Dossier scent! PLEASE NEVER STOP MAKING THIS.

Bold, Masculine, and Sophisticated
Fougere Oud is another scent I really enjoy. It has a bold, masculine presence that immediately stands out, while still smelling smooth and sophisticated. It makes a statement without being overpowering and has the kind of scent profile that gets noticed. Definitely one I enjoy wearing and would recommend.

Great scent but isn’t very strong
This is a great spicy, decadent scent that can rival any luxury brand. However, the scent is almost nonexistent once it dries. I can smell it somewhat on my clothes or makeup brushes, but neither myself nor anyone around me can get even a hint of it, even when I doubled up on the application.
I love dossier as a brand, but this scent for me was a bust since it’s gone before I even leave the house.
